CONNIE MANDERINO,

LIFESTYLE PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Connie is honored to be a part of your wellness journey by being with you through every step of the process at Ethos Primary Care.

Connie is passionate about community health and environmental stewardship. These passions merge on the Ethos Farm, where nutritionally dense food is grown for patients in the most organic, sustainable way that regenerates healthy soil and healthy bodies.

Connie started her health journey in 2011 when she was experiencing a lot of medical issues at a young age. After many laboratory tests and doctor visits, she realized it was her lifestyle that was causing her to deteriorate: her food and drink choices, her sleep, her exercise, her stress levels, and more. All of these little habits that make up our lifestyle will determine who we are, how we look, and how we feel.

Connie went on to receive her certification as a Nutritional Therapist from the Health Sciences Academy and her certification as a Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach from the YMCA. Connie is also passionate about increasing access to nutrition education and healthy food resources for underserved populations, so she has dedicated time to both volunteering and working for a food bank.

Connie feels lucky that she was able to discover a whole food, plant-based diet when she did. She was able to slowly take control of her life and develop habits that have transformed her into a healthier, happier, more mindful, more compassionate being. Connie hopes to inspire and guide others on their own plant-based health journeys at Ethos Primary Care.

Connie has volunteered with several sustainable food system organizations. She currently helps run a farm sanctuary and community garden in her town. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her family and exploring different parks around the country.
